This month we are excited to introduce another member of our team – our Technical Executive on Commercial property – Holly Sheridan
‘My journey began with a deep-rooted passion for photography, inspired by my grandad, who introduced me to the nuances of film, digital photography, and the art of developing, editing, and printing. This early exposure led me to pursue a BA(Hons) in Fashion Photography at Falmouth University. After graduating, I embarked on a freelance career, capturing a range of subjects from newborns and families to pets and weddings. While this period was rewarding, a new opportunity arose when I was offered a role as a property photographer for a local estate agent. This position allowed me to cover the North West, refining my skills in real estate photography and gaining valuable insights into the property market.’
‘Over the following eight years, I advanced within the real estate industry, working with various agencies and ultimately becoming a branch manager and valuer in a small village in Lancashire. Despite the success and growth I experienced, I eventually felt that I had reached a limit in this field and sought a new challenge. The role at Whitehall presented an exciting opportunity, offering a dynamic environment and a variety of cases, while still allowing me to stay close to home and my beloved dog.
Outside of work, photography remains a cherished interest, especially when I have the chance to try out new equipment with my grandad. I also enjoy reading, particularly non-fiction and true crime books. My weekends are often spent with my 5-year-old black-and-tan Dachshund, Herbie. We delight in long walks, followed by some quiet time with a good book and a glass of scotch, while Herbie enjoys his favourite treat – a bacon twirl.’
