Meet the team – Tony Vardy

Tony joined Whitehall in January as our Compliance Manager. He will oversee regulatory risks, ensure compliance with company rules, and collaborate with management on new regulations.

Tony shared with us some insights about himself and the responsibilities he holds:

‘I am responsible for staying abreast of regulatory requirements applicable to the business, interpreting these regulations, assessing their impact on the business, and developing policies and strategies to ensure compliance. I will be reviewing and updating internal policies to align with current and changing regulations and industry standards.

As part of my role, I will provide compliance training to employees to increase their awareness of internal policies and legal requirements. To inform them about their responsibilities and to promote a culture of compliance within the organisation. This will include conducting file reviews of new and existing business to check files are complete, accurate and staff are following processes. Results from these file reviews will help spot trends and go towards improving documented procedures and training provided.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with the family and riding my bike at the weekend to stay fit. When I find time around the family, I also enjoy learning/playing guitar.’
