Meet the team – Suzanne Walker

This month, we are introducing our Technical Manager – Suzanne Walker.
Suzanne brings over 20 years of expertise in the SSAS and SIPP industry to her role, where she ensures the team stays up-to-date with ever-evolving pension legislation.
Suzanne is dedicated to using her in-depth knowledge to support clients’ retirement planning and to mentor the team through training sessions, keeping us all informed and prepared for the latest industry changes.
‘As the Technical Manager at Whitehall Group, I ensure we stay current with pension legislation, a role that keeps me very busy. I’ve been with Whitehall Group for over three years, following a 20-year career in the SSAS and SIPP industry. Over my career, I’ve seen first-hand many changes in pension legislation; it just never stays the same for long!
I enjoy my work at Whitehall Group, where I use my years of pension knowledge to assist clients with their retirement plans and share with colleagues through training sessions.
Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for travel, live music, and hiking. This year, I fulfilled a bucket list dream by traveling to Antarctica. I joined a group that sea kayaked around the ice, allowing us to fully appreciate the wildlife and landscapes. I saw whales, penguins, seals, and beautiful ice formations. We also hiked on land, enabling me to proudly say I’ve set foot on all seven continents.
For my live music fix, I’ve been fortunate to volunteer at the Glastonbury music festival for the past four years, helping to paint the bins. Each year, around 20,000 bins are brightly painted with new designs, a process that takes weeks of outdoor work, in all weather, to complete ahead of the festival. I love being in nature, getting creative, and contributing to the festival setup in those weeks, before I then get to enjoy the music.’
