As 2024 draws to a close, it is once again time to reflect on an exciting year at Whitehall.
After moving into our new premises in Ramsbotton in November 2023, we have settled-in and are enjoying the space and amenities offered by the pretty town around us. When it comes to feelings of welfare, we couldn’t be happier and with only one boiler malfunction, its all gone very smoothly really.
Our new SIPP product was launched earlier in the year and we are seeing a promising start in terms of new business and interest from advisers. There certainly appears to be an appetite for the product.
We were also once again delighted to be crowned Best SSAS Provider at the 2024 Moneyfacts Awards and it’s lovely to receive the recognition after all the hard work that goes in behind the scenes.
Looking forward to 2025, we are excited about new product enhancements that will be released over the course of the year and are planning additional improvements to stay ahead of evolving regulation. One key area for SSASs will be the new HMRC Pension Scheme Returns that commence on the 6th April. With a much more granular level of detail being required, it is clear HMRC will be taking a close look at the SSAS market and staying on the right side of the rules will be more important than ever. Professionalism will be the key word over the coming years.
