You may have been contacted by someone telling you that you must have Trustee Training to comply with regulations within 6 months of becoming a SSAS trustee or you will be liable to a fine. They may have also offered this service for a fee. I would like to stress that there is NO requirement for mandatory trustee training for trustees of a SSAS which are small company pension schemes with no more than 11 members.
